TITLE:

STIPEND OPPORTUNITY: Equitable Services Service Plans

REPORTS TO:

OSS Deputy Chief of Services and Accountability or their designee

STIPEND POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Office of Specialized Services (OSS) seeks existing BTU staff to provide Equitable Services support. The support will:

Service Plans:

1. Coordinate creation of service plans for eligible students with principals
2. Share this information with families
3. Coordinate service plan meetings for each student on service plan
4. Create vendor recommendation for service plan provision

TERMS:

1. The stipend will be paid at the hourly rate of $50 and once the responsibilities are completed.
2. OSS expects drafting the service plan and presenting it to the family to take 30 minutes.
3. OSS is only compensating the position for duties and administrative tasks performed outside of the regular work day. It is expected that the position tracks all time and tasks performed outside of the regular work day.
4. The provider is responsible for completing all documentation as expected.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: Currently working in Boston Public Schools

Required: Appropriate licensure

Required: Member of BTU bargaining unit

Preferred: Fluency in a language other than english.
