Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)
Location:Lafayette IN
Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Shift: Mid Shift 5x8-Hour (3:00 PM 11:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Indiana IN.

Key Responsibilities
Perform decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment
Assemble instrument trays accurately according to count sheets and surgical requirements
Operate sterilization equipment including steam sterilizers and related systems
Process flexible scopes and maintain infection control standards
Inspect instruments for cleanliness functionality and defects
Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of sterilization processes
Ensure compliance with hospital infection prevention and patient safety standards
Support Operating Room and Surgical Services with timely instrument availability
Follow facility policies regulatory standards and sterile processing protocols

Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of Sterile Processing experience (Hard Stop)
Previous travel assignment experience required
HSPA Certification required
Strong knowledge of decontamination instrument assembly sterilizers and scope processing
SPT II or SPT III experience preferred
Ability to float to Arnett Surgery Center as needed
