Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sterile processing procedures surgical instrument sterilization and infection prevention practices while supporting efficient surgical services operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform decontamination cleaning sterilization and assembly of surgical instruments and medical equipment
Maintain proper storage organization and handling of sterile supplies and instruments
Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards and sterilization protocols
Inspect surgical instruments for cleanliness functionality and correct assembly
Maintain accurate sterilization and processing documentation
Participate in required on-call coverage and respond to departmental needs
Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to support quality patient care
Qualifications
Active CRCST certification required
Current BLS certification required
Previous sterile processing experience preferred
Strong understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control standards
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
