Position: STEM Researcher Computational Fields
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60$90/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 35 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design complex multi-step tasks using research skills like experimental design hypothesis testing and evaluation.
• Author solutions in Python and notebooks ensuring high rigor and accuracy.
• Define criteria for sound scientific reasoning to distinguish it from superficial reasoning.
• Evaluate model attempts and identify mistakes a working researcher would catch.
• Collaborate with researchers and experts to maintain consistent and accurate evaluations.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• MSc or PhD in a STEM field or computational social-science or humanities discipline.
• 1 years of experience in an active research role.
• Significant computational work involving Python-based analysis.
• Strong grounding in experimental design hypothesis testing and evaluation.
• Familiarity with Git IDEs and notebook environments like Jupyter or Colab.

Preferred

• Experience in AI training model evaluation or benchmark/task authoring.
