Position: STEM Researcher Computational Fields
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60$90/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 35 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design tasks by turning everyday research skills into engaging multi-step tasks.
• Author solutions using Python and notebooks ensuring rigor and precision.
• Define criteria for sound scientific reasoning versus superficial reasoning.
• Evaluate models by reviewing attempts and identifying immediate mistakes.
• Work as a team to ensure consistent and accurate evaluations.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• MSc or PhD in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 years in an active research role.
• Experience with Python-based analysis simulation or data pipelines.
• Strong grounding in experimental design and hypothesis testing.
• Familiarity with Git IDEs and notebook environments.

Preferred

• Experience in AI training model evaluation or benchmark/task authoring.
• High attention to detail and creativity in task design.
