Our Starbucks is located inside our beautiful glass atrium in the heart of downtown South Bend. Were looking for friendly dependable energetic Full-Time Baristas who enjoy creating great drinks and even better guest experiences.

Our Starbucks opens early! Shifts may begin as early as 5:00 AM and the store is open until 4:00 PM.

Full-time availability and weekend availability are required. Hospitality never sleeps and our busiest days often include weekends and holidays!

As a Barista youll help create a welcoming Starbucks experience for hotel guests conference attendees downtown visitors and our local regulars. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests with a friendly welcoming attitude
• Preparing handcrafted Starbucks beverages according to recipes and standards
• Taking orders and operating the POS/register
• Serving coffee pastries sandwiches and other food items
• Answering questions and helping guests find their new favorite drink
• Restocking cups coffee food products and supplies
• Maintaining a clean organized and inviting coffee bar
• Following food safety sanitation and brand standards
• Keeping up in a fast-paced environment especially during our morning rush
• Working as a team to make sure every guest leaves with a great experience

• Is reliable and punctual especially for those 5:00 AM starts!
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with people
• Can work efficiently in a busy environment
• Is comfortable being on their feet throughout the shift
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Takes pride in cleanliness presentation and customer service
• Has previous Starbucks barista restaurant retail or customer service experience a plus but not required
• Has a Safe Food Handling Certification or the ability to obtain one
• Has weekend and holiday availability

Youll be part of the DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend team a full-service downtown hotel featuring Bakers Bar & Grill approximately 15000 square feet of meeting and banquet space an indoor pool and fitness center and our Starbucks located right in the center of it all.
