What youll do...

Collaborate with Engineering Design and Manufacturing teams to develop innovative engineering solutions that enable integrated vehicle systems efficient manufacturing processes and key styling themes
Develop and prototype concepts that improve product cost mass efficiency manufacturability serviceability and user experience
Drive cross functional product architecture trades between vehicle subsystems (interiors closures chassis thermal powertrain electrical distribution etc.) to determine product direction
Identify and resolve geometrical incompatibilities between systems through first principles and concept 3D
Collaborate with engineers designers technicians and suppliers to procure and build physical properties

Youll have...

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or equivalent
5 years experience in automotive or related field EV preferred
Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to apply broadly to vehicle systems and manufacturing processes
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment
CAD proficiency in assembly and part design FEA and 2D drawings. Catia and 3D Experience preferred

Even better you may have...
Experience designing and releasing mechanical and electromechanical systems
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong proficiency in Atlassian tools (Confluence JIRA)
Strong verbal and written communication

This position is a leadership level 6 and ranges from $150200-$283500.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidates skills and experience and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope responsibility and competitive market value.
