Staff Structural Engineer

DuBois & King Inc is seeking a Staff Structural Engineer with 0 - 5 years of experience. This is afull timeengineering position in our busy and growing Structural Engineering Group. Our markets include commercial industrial institutional healthcare recreational and government projects throughout New England.

Responsibilities

• Preparing calculations under the supervision of an experienced engineer using current material and building codes and relevant design standards.

• Proficiencywith design software such as RamEnercalc andRetainPro among others.

• Ability to work in Revit toassistwith the preparation of drawings and sketches including completion of redlines.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

• Conducting field work to survey existing conditions or review project conformance with plans.

• Flexibility with schedule to accommodate projectrequirementsas necessary.

• Bachelors degree or higher in civil or structural engineering

• AutoCAD and Revitproficiencyrequiredand comfortable with engineering design software.

• EIT inVT or NHor ability to obtain within 6-12 months is preferred

• Strong technical skills combined with clear concise written and verbal communication skills are important
