SCS Engineers is looking for a Process Engineer to help us expand our industrial wastewater management practice. We would like you based out of Virginia Beach VA.

How you can make an impact
  • Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering and scientific
  • Prepares and reviews engineering calculations drawings reports and permit applications.
  • Assist in projects and personnel as necessary to meet both client and SCS expectations.
  • Makes decisions independently on engineering or scientific problems and methods plans and coordinates work and represents the company at meetings and conferences.
  • Field work in varied terrain and weather may be required including but not limited to surveys/data gathering construction quality assurance inspections system commissioning and startup etc.
  • Office based tasks including but not limited to: designing treatment systems preparation of project drawings such as PFDs and P&IDS CAD drafting mathematical calculations report writing creating site plans and facility diagrams permit applications etc.
  • Business development including but not limited to: proposal preparation meeting with clients and attending industry-related conferences/trade shows.
  • Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans or projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Environmental or Chemical Engineering or any other related engineering discipline is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of process engineering experience required.
  • Technical experience in the design of wastewater treatment systems equipment sizing piping design and process controls as well as report preparation permit coordination and construction phase services is preferred.
  • E.I.T. strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Microsoft Office and current engineering design software.
  • Valid drivers license with a driving record in good standing required.
Pay Range
USD $78000.00 - USD $85000.00 /Yr.
