Job Summary
Help design spaces that support children families and the teams who care for them.
- Support interior design planning for healthcare clinic administrative retail and hospital-based projects across the Delaware Valley.
- Assistwith space planning preliminary test fits feasibility studies AutoCAD design/construction documents and existingconditionsdocumentation.
- Research furniture finishes products materials installation methods healthcare design standards building codes infection control requirements and evidence-based design practices.
- Meet with end users to understand project needs develop furniture specifications document finishes andmaintainestablished Nemours design standards.
- Coordinate furniture installations with end users electrical data facilities vendors and project managers.
- Maintain clear communication with the Interior Design Manager and manage multiple tasks deadlines and project priorities.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment by supporting Corporate Facilities team members and helpingmaintainthe design and construction materials library.
- Bachelors degree in Interior Designfrom an accredited college or university.
- AutoCAD experiencerequired; Revit experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Excel Bluebeam PowerPoint Revit Photoshop CAFM and E-builder preferred.
- Prior healthcare interior design experience is a strong plus; commercial furniture dealership experience is also acceptable.
- NCIDQ certification preferred or willingness to prepare for the NCIDQ exam when eligible.
- Strong communication organization problem-solving and collaboration skills.
