Skillset / Experience:
INSPYR Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support financial reporting general ledger activities account reconciliations and day-to-day accounting operations. This role will assist with financial analysis consolidations audit requests and accounting projects while gaining exposure to GAAP SEC reporting and M&A activities. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting good analytical and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

Essential Functions

• Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and departments.
• Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data.
• Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
• Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
• Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
• Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Provides accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.
• Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.
• Assists with response to SOX internal and external audit requests.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• General ledger application experience preferred.
• Understanding of accounting principles GAAP.
• Knowledgeable with SEC reporting requirements and consolidation accounting.

• Skill to analyze data and provide recommendations.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Must be able to work independently prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines.
