**On-site at our Prince George VA facility.**

This role is to support anew factory in Prince George VA (on-site) a start-up manufacturing large form-factor product will be large (shipping container size) heavy (50 tons) and position will be part of the core factory startup and onboarding team responsible for building the operations and manufacturing staff fitting out the building and creating the process flow/work instructions/etc. from the ground to include: panel and point to point wire assembly Medium Voltage Low Voltage and High Power Electronic assemblies.

This role serves as a key business partner to site leadership. This role delivers indepth financial analysis cost insight and operational performance reporting to drive better decisionmaking. Responsibilities include forecasting budgeting PPV analysis cost analysis SOX compliance and routine financial health reviews. This position also contributes to the enhancement and maintenance of Jabils financial systems and tools ensuring accuracy strong internal controls and alignment with corporate standards. The analyst interacts routinely with crossfunctional teams including Operations Supply Chain Engineering and Corporate Finance to improve transparency support strategic initiatives and enhance overall operating results.

What Will You Do
As a Staff Accountant at Jabil Inc. you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks ensuring compliance with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

• Prepare and post journal entries ensuring accuracy and proper coding.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts bank statements and other financial records.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes including preparing financial statements.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.

• Process payroll-related transactions.

• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.

• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies internal controls and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.

• Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures.

• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

What are the Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.

• 0-2 years of progressive accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing or multinational environment.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) is highly desirable.

Knowledge Skills Abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs pivot tables advanced formulas).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

The pay range for this role is $58800 - $94100. Job-related non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience geographic location education external market data and consideration of internal equity.
