Staff Accountant

Summary:

Responsible for maintaining proper accounting and effectively classify prepare record and verify financial datafor multiple entities. Responsible for overseeing high number of independententities.

Responsibilitiesinclude (but not limited to)thefollowing:

• Reconcile bank statements
• Review all general ledger account activity to ensure account balance accuracy
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and necessary accruals
• Prepare and record journal entries for month end close
• Monthly analysis of actual to budget
• Put together year-end financial packets for yearend Financial Review
• Various AD HOC reports as required
• Tenant billing and collections ensuring accurate billing by reviewing leases
• CAM reconciliations as needed

Skills/qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3 to 5 years of relative work experience in Accounting field required
• Experience with accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and attention to details
