Job Summary

Contribute monthly to the close of the financials on a wide array of companies in different industry sectors belonging to the diverse portfolio of client.

Compile and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries to accounts such as general ledger accounts documenting business transactions revenue recognition.
Distributes expenditures encumbrances receipts and receivables according to schedules.
Utilize your analytical skills to examine financial data identify patterns and generate meaningful reports that guide our business strategies.
Analyzes financial information detailing assets liabilities and capital and prepares balance sheets profit and loss statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for other managers.
Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.
Reviews investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries documents and reports.
Makes recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves assets and expenditures.
Supports process improvements related to accounting systems and workflows to enhance efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Job costing experience is required.
Bachelors degree in accounting.
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Candidates must have experience tracking analyzing and reporting project costs budgets and variances.
Experience supporting project-based or construction-related accounting environments is highly preferred.
