We are seeking a skilledSenior Welderto join our Liquids Pipelines this hands-on field role you will perform specialized welding activities that support the safe operation maintenance repair and integrity of our pipeline system. You will work alongside experienced professionals respond to operational needs and play a critical role in ensuring the continued delivery of energy across North America.

What You Will Do:
Perform pipeline welding fabrication plate welding and related repair work in accordance with company procedures regulatory requirements and qualified welding practices.
Support pipeline maintenance integrity and line crossing activities while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Participate in emergency response activities including containment repair cleanup and preventative actions related to abnormal right-of-way conditions.
Maintain welding qualifications by successfully completing required weld testing and certification renewals.
Complete Operator Qualification (OQ) requirements task assessments and on-the-job training activities to ensure compliance with covered task requirements.
Provide oversight of contractor activities and serve as a company inspector for contract work when required.
Assist with operational leadership responsibilities by supporting pipeline supervisors and providing coverage as needed.
Who You Are:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated welding competency with the ability to successfully complete all company and DOT-required welding qualification tests.
Valid drivers license with a safe driving record.
Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with air brake hazardous materials and tank vehicle endorsements.
Strong commitment to safety regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Ability to reside within a reasonable distance of the reporting location as required by management.
Preferred:
Experience performing pipeline maintenance and repair activities.
Knowledge of pipeline operating procedures and integrity practices.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
Previous experience supporting emergency response and field operations.
Working Conditions:
Primarily field-based work involving outdoor activities in various weather and environmental conditions.
Frequent travel of up to 75% may be required.
Participation in an on-call rotation and emergency response activities is required.
Work may involve extended hours overtime and physically demanding tasks.
Frequent lifting carrying climbing bending kneeling and working in confined or challenging environments.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and carry up to 85 pounds as required.
Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 100 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion typing sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
Mental Requirements include but are not limited to:
Ability to: understand remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines complete routine forms compose letters outlines memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
