Our Program Management team under the Commerce Experiences pillar in Marketing work on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative cross-functional group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to design solutions from concept to launch - all while focusing on and advocating for whats best for our customers. We work closely with Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products. We partner with the Sales Customer Success Marketing Finance Legal and Security teams to bring the product to market. The Senior Technical Program Manager will be responsible for managing the scope impact and technical complexity of programs through all phases of the product life cycle. This role will manage interdependencies and integrations across projects teams and stakeholders. This position will work in conjunction with Product Management and Engineering to ensure the delivery of our roadmap and deliver the underlying platform systems and applications necessary to support continued system scale a broadening product portfolio the basis for new innovative product capabilities and improve operational efficiencies related to these areas. This positions objectives will be directly linked to business metrics such as revenue customer satisfaction and operational efficiency; and technical metrics such as system stability scalability and performance and quality of service.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Program Management and Operations.
Responsibility
Drive the end-to-end delivery of technical PLG initiatives across the full engineering stack
Work with Technical Leads on Engineering design decisions and contribute to the architectural design reviews to ensure we continue to raise our technical standards
Partner with Product Management Engineering UX Marketing Sales Support Legal Finance and IT to deliver best in-class experience for our customers
Keep leadership and business teams updated on project timelines and results
Identify program dependencies based on a thorough understanding of existing technical systems design and define end to end launch plan ensuring Product Engineering Design Marketing Support Legal Finance dependencies are represented
Partner with Product Management and Engineering leads to facilitate continuous roadmap planning
Define communication plan for programs
Lead communication within the team to stakeholders at cross-functional meetings
Ensure adherence to Project Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle while maintaining visibility to Release Management
Identify and track risks to project delivery and overall program schedule
Work with cross-team leadership to conduct Level of Effort estimation and resource planning which includes understanding the details of engineering efforts based on the architecture and development
Evaluate existing processes and procedures and make recommendations and drive process improvement and adoption of best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Conduct change management efforts of moderate complexity
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Basic
Bachelors degree
8 years of experience leading cross-functional global programs
Experience working closely with engineering teams for development and launch of large complex programs
Experience using Jira Confluence Smartsheet
Experience working cross-functionally with Product Management Design Research Engineering IT Operations Legal Security Marketing Sales and Customer Support
Experience leading without authority to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
Experience developing strong cross-team relationships and partnerships
Experience in a company that has scale or experience in both small and large software development organizations
Preferred
Masters degree preferably in Computer Science Information Systems Informatics Electronics/Electrical or equivalent technical work experience
Solid understanding of eCommerce foundational concepts
Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and delivering solutions
Skilled at dealing with ambiguity in a rapidly growing and changing environment
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Confident in working with Executive team members
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.
Based on applicable legislation the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $146400.00 - $235375.00 base salary
Washington Maryland New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $140100.00 - $206775.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
- Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
- Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
