Sr. Technical Program Manager, Leo , Builder Operation and Test Simulations Team

Project Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive programs across the Builder Operations data plane platform and infrastructure services Leos Build and Test systems across serving over 6K developers and downstream engineering internal services to develop build download and release.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will own delivery of programs spanning infrastructure adoption de-dataplane service compliance and security customer feedback and roadmap planning. You will work closely with leadership to share regular progress on key projects.

This is an individual contributor role with broad cross-organizational influence. You will partner closely with embedded software engineers cloud service developers and test automation teams to deliver a platform that satellite software teams depend on daily. Your technical depth program management fundamentals and ability to influence without authority will enable you to drive alignment and help teams deliver faster with higher quality.

- 3 years of software development experience
- 3 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining and executing program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 5 years of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) experience or AWS Professional level certification

- Experience with Linux operating system embedded systems consumer devices or mobile apps
- Experience with AWS Services including EC2 Lambda S3 DynamoDB SQS
- Experience building launch readiness frameworks standard work playbooks and scalable deployment mechanisms across multiple concurrent sites or experience in reliability/maintenance environments
- Experience in software-testing techniques (like equivalence class partitioning) and software testing life cycle
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Familiarity with satellite systems flight software or aerospace development environments
- Track record of building mechanisms that improved cross-team coordination and reduced recurring operational failures

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
