Job Summary

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global other words were the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and were looking for talented people who want to help.

Youll join a diverse team of technical program managers design engineers construction managers network engineers supply chain specialists security experts operations managers and other vital roles. Youll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And youll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

Were seeking an experienced Sr. Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to own infrastructure delivery for the network and logical scope of our ML/AI data center builds. This is an infrastructure role with a heavy network focus. Youll assist and advise across multiple locations at once and serve as the subject matter expert on the network and logical side of the process so infrastructure deliveries account for it. Youll own the physical foundation network capacity lands on: space power rack positioning and deployment readiness. Youll work closely with the Network TPMs and engineering teams who own network design and delivery making sure their plans can actually land on time and to spec.

To do that well youll need more network fluency than a typical infrastructure PM. That means understanding topology scaling and rack requirements well enough to turn network intent into infrastructure plans and to question assumptions in both directions. You dont need to own the network yourself. When five teams are pointing at each other you find where the chain is broken and get the program moving again. When a declared blocker doesnt hold up you test it and push back with data. When an issue shows up at one site you assume its coming at others get ahead of it and write it down so the next build doesnt hit the same wall.

The successful candidate is a strong written and verbal communicator who adjusts the depth and framing of an answer to whos asking and why. They arent slowed down by ambiguity or competing priorities and theyre comfortable working across many builds at different phases at the same time.

Key job responsibilities
- Own infrastructure readiness for network and logical scope across concurrent new-region and expansion builds
- Turn network requirements (topology rack BOMs power data) into site-specific space and power plans
- Act as the infrastructure counterpart to Network TPMs: line up network schedules with site delivery and surface physical constraints early
- Map dependencies across construction fiber capacity planning logistics and deployment teams; build and drive schedules down to critical-path detail
- Cross-check outputs from multiple planning and tracking systems find gaps in upstream data and drive corrections
- Look for problems that repeat across sites and turn the lessons into runbooks and shared knowledge
