Job Description:
- Responsible for the successful initiation planning development administration risk management implementation control and closure of large-sized projects across multiple business units.
- Understand and utilize project management methodologies and processes for project delivery to achieve scope schedule and cost objectives while effectively managing risks.
- Determine specific business needs and deliverables of a project establish and manage costs resources performance measurements timeline and project deliverables.
- Manage applicable project contracts in conjunction with sourcing personnel including preparing RFPs evaluating responses participating in negotiations interpreting contract language and handling finances.
- Develop and execute communication and stakeholder management plans related to projects.
- Ensure training needs are met for project team members and users of the project.
- Ensure operational teams are properly trained work orders are closed finance charges are handled and a smooth transition of deliverables occurs upon project completion.
- Provide support and mentorship in organizational change management methodology within the context of program and project management.
- Minimum of five (5) years of IT/Technology Project Management experience required. Prefer a candidate with ten (10) years of experience.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex large-scale high-dollar multi-year software technology projects.
- Ability to identify plan coordinate and drive work across multiple IT teams vendors and business stakeholders.
- Strong risk issue dependency and escalation management skills.
- Experience managing third-party vendors consulting partners system integrators and contract resources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project expected.
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
