• Design develop and maintain innovative capabilities across both on-premises and SaaS offerings.
• Partner closely with Product Management and cross-functional engineering teams to define technical strategy and influence the long-term product roadmap.
• Architect and implement scalable features for both cloud and on-prem environments.
• Champion engineering excellence through test-driven development code quality reliability and operational best practices.
• Drive the delivery of resilient enterprise-grade solutions that meet demanding scalability and performance requirements.
• Foster a culture of ownership accountability and continuous improvement across the team.
• Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to technical leadership across the organization.

• 12 years of experience designing developing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong software development experience in C and/or Go.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems scalability reliability and performance optimization.
• Experience with data protection storage systems filesystems or related infrastructure technologies is a plus.
• Experience building cloud-native applications SaaS platforms microservices or distributed infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor Claude or GitHub Copilot.
• Strong analytical debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to learn quickly and thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Passion for software quality testing methodologies and engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors including a candidates skills qualifications and experience location and salary expectations and therefore a starting salary at the low end high end or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation commission (if in a sales function) and/or equity grants. The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.
