Sr. Quality Engineer

Job Summary
The Sr. Quality Engineer will develop and maintain quality systems support manufacturing operations and lead continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Develop implement and maintain quality system procedures and documentation
- Conduct quality assurance testing and statistical analysis of manufacturing processes
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for warranty claims and product nonconformance
- Perform hardware/software analysis including DTC testing bench testing and PCB component investigations
- Manage and execute CAPA projects using problem-solving and statistical tools
- Maintain Risk Management documentation including Risk Analysis FMEAs and validation reports
- Support internal/external quality audits and compliance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process improvements
- Provide technical support to manufacturing operations and quality control processes
- Design and implement inspection methods and testing procedures
- Lead process and test method validation activities
Monitor supplier quality performance and coordinate corrective actions for supplier-related issues - Develop and maintain quality metrics dashboards to track performance and identify trends
- Facilitate training on quality procedures standards and tools for production and support staff
- Lead quality planning activities during project kickoff phases (APQP PPAP as applicable)
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality management system standards
- Participate in customer meetings audits and quality reviews as needed
- Analyze field returns and customer complaints to drive long-term quality improvements
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Science or technical field required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering and/or Quality
- Technical expertise in SMT electronics PTH AOI and electronic measurement instruments
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or DMAIC methodology experience preferred
- ASQ Quality certification desired
- English communication and presentation skills required
