About the Job

Plans monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion primarily focused around Payment Integrity products. Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources budgets risks and changes.

Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs. At the higher levels incumbents manage large multifaceted projects. Technical partnership and cross collaboration within a matrixed organization is a daily occurrence.

What you will do:

  • Acts as a top-level specialist in project management for technical deployments on the ACAS platform providing experiencebased guidance and mentorship to support successful project execution.
  • Adapts project management methodologies and best practices to meet the unique needs of each project and ensure efficient and effective project delivery
  • Advises project teams and stakeholders on project management principles practices and approaches to enhance project outcomes and mitigate risks.
  • Applies highly developed project management skills to effectively plan execute. and monitor complex projects. ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Approves project plans. budgets and resource allocations authorizing project initiation and ensuring adherence to project governance and standards.
  • Benchmarks project performance against industry standards best practices and key performance indicators identifying opportunities for improvement and driving excellence.
  • Checks project deliverables milestones and timelines to ensure timely and accurate project completion providing guidance and support to project teams as needed.
  • Coaches other project managers and team members providing mentorship and guidance
  • Support to enhance work area project management skills and contribute to key professional growth
  • Consults on project management practices processes and to dos collaborating with stakeholders to establish effective project management frameworks and ensure successful project outcomes

Minimum Requirements

  • 7 years Project Management work experience in the areas of payment integrity or technical implementations of new products
  • Adept at problem solving and decision making working in the gray with little direction
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning delivering and supporting) skills

Preferred Requirements

  • 3 years of experience on a technical project or alignment with the ACAS Aetna commercial platform
  • Experience in deploying technical implementations
  • Bachelors degree preferred/specialized training or 10 years of relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82940.00 - $182549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the companys equity award program.
