Job Summary
Are you ready to shape the future of analytics at Link Snacks Were looking for a Sr. Product Owner Analytics and Automation to lead the vision and delivery of data-driven products for our Supply Chain Operations & Planning (SCOPs) Manufacturing and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) domains powering smarter decisions faster innovation and stronger business outcomes. At Link Snacks we are building an analytics capability that transforms how the business operatesenabling insights at scale and driving measurable impact across our supply chain and manufacturing network.
As a Sr. Product Owner you will own the strategy roadmap and execution for BI and analytics products across the SCOPs Manufacturing and IBP domains. This role spans the entire product lifecyclefrom discovery and prioritization to delivery adoption and continuous improvement. A key focus area is defining and delivering high-value dashboards and self-service analytics that support demand and supply planning the S&OP / IBP cycle manufacturing performance inventory logistics and procurement.
Youll work closely with supply chain manufacturing and planning leaders business relationship managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and execute the vision and roadmap for analytics products. While your primary responsibility is product leadership you will also roll up your sleeves to direct or perform BI development including importing and transforming data enhancing semantic models building and deploying Power BI visualizations and implementing security and access controls.
This role will initially focus on BI development (approximately 75%) and will evolve over time to a balanced mix of product leadership and technical delivery. This role is supported by a strong ecosystem of experts including business relationship managers data engineers data architects BI developers data scientists and platform specialists who enable reporting and analytics product development. Youll lead the vision and orchestrate these resources to deliver solutions that drive business impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Vision & Roadmap
- Define and maintain a clear vision for BI and analytics products across SCOPs Manufacturing and IBP.
- Develop and manage a roadmap that translates supply chain manufacturing and planning goals into actionable user stories and priorities.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with supply chain manufacturing and IBP / planning leaders relationship managers and SMEs to identify define and prioritize analytics solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
Agile Delivery
- Convert business needs into requirements and user stories.
- Manage backlog and spring planning.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment.
Data Management & Governance
- Partner with data engineers and architects to ensure products are scalable reliable and secure.
- Enforce data quality standards and oversee documentation and metadata for transparency.
Solution Design & Development
- Translate complex supply chain manufacturing and planning data challenges into user-centric solutions.
- Balance short-term priorities with long-term vision.
- Perform hands-on BI development when needed (data import/transform semantic model enhancement Power BI dashboards security and access controls).
Activation & Adoption
- Champion user experience through training and enablement.
- Monitor product health (usage satisfaction decision impact) and iterate based on insights.
Lifecycle Ownership
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through delivery adoption and continuous improvement.
Oversee Strategic Initiatives
- Own strategic initiatives that advance analytics maturity and business impact across the supply chain and manufacturing network.
Unified Roadmap Leadership
- Develop and manage a consolidated roadmap across several product owners ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities.
Mentorship & Guidance
- Coach and guide other product owners on best practices backlog management and delivery standards.
Performance Oversight
- Track and report on overall product portfolio performance focusing on business impact and measurable outcomes.
- Advanced Technical Oversight
- Ensure consistency and governance across multiple BI and analytics solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology.
- 7 years of experience in BI/Analytics product ownership and product management leading complex cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Proven track record of managing multiple products or domains mentoring other product owners and driving strategic initiatives.
- Strong technical depth (Power BI data modeling governance) and ability to strategically influence BI and Analytics product strategy.
- Hands-on experience leading enterprise BI/analytics products with measurable adoption and impact.
- Business-facing experience in supply chain manufacturing and/or integrated business planning or a strong desire and aptitude to learn these domains.
- Designing product briefs MVPs and outcome-based roadmaps.
- Proven experience managing product roadmaps backlogs and user stories in an agile environment.
- Ability to work closely with supply chain manufacturing and planning leaders relationship managers and SMEs to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
- Hands-on ability to develop dashboards including import and transform data enhance semantic models build and deploy dashboards and implement row-level security and access controls.
- Solid understanding of relational and dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas) and performance optimization for BI solutions.
- Proficiency in DAX and SQL for building measures queries and optimizing data models.
- Knowledge of data quality standards metadata management and security best practices.
- Ability to partner effectively with data engineers architects BI developers and platform teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to align diverse stakeholders and drive adoption.
- Experience with Jira Azure DevOps and other agile tools for backlog management and release tracking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Power BI.
- Familiarity with enterprise data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric Azure Data Services and SAP Datasphere / S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with Lakehouse platforms and architecture such as Fabric Snowflake Databricks and/or GCP.
- Familiarity with supply chain and IBP planning platforms such as SAP IBP Kinaxis o9 or Blue Yonder and with manufacturing systems (MES / ERP).
- Understanding of S&OP / IBP processes and key metrics (forecast accuracy service level inventory OEE).
- Familiarity with predictive modeling and the integration of AI-driven insights into BI products (e.g. demand forecasting supply and inventory optimization).
- Ability to collaborate with data scientists on preparing and structuring data for advanced analytics use cases.
- Awareness of or experience leveraging AI/ML for process automation anomaly detection and decision support.
- Awareness of or experience leveraging generative AI applications in analytics (e.g. natural language query automated insights) and willingness to explore innovative solutions.
Additional Information :
The starting salarie for this role is $140000.00 - $170000.00. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including but not limited to external market data internal equity location and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Links Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards. The work environment is a plant/office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet/slippery floors. However the vast amount of work is conducted in a climate-controlled office. Travel may be required.
