Sr. Product Manager Technical, AWS Identity, IAM Identity Center

We run massively scaled globally distributed systems that authenticate every AWS transaction.

IAM Identity Center is the workforce identity connector for 45 AWS managed applications providing enterprise and individual customers with a consistent secure front-door authentication experience. We are seeking a deeply technical product manager in AWS Identity to drive the strategy and product roadmap for IAM Identity Center. You will define the vision for how we evolve fundamental user experiences from simplifying the onboarding and sign-up experience to features that streamline the daily work for administrators and end users. You will have end-to-end product responsibility from working with external and internal customers to making roadmap tradeoffs and delivering revolutionary new features and functionality that improve the customer experience. The successful candidate will form a strategy that gets to the core of what customers value set priorities that move that strategy forward and influence across teams spanning AWS Identity Security GenAI Analytics and beyond to bring that vision to life.

Candidates should enjoy working in a collaborative analytical and fast-paced environment and be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates dive deep into data have strong writing skills and can confidently lead teams to alignment in ambiguous problem spaces.

Key job responsibilities
- Work with the leadership team to set strategy define the product and make appropriate high-judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch
- Use case prioritization feature definition ownership of the product roadmap and customer segmentation
- Engage with service owners and partner teams to identify integration opportunities and drive product initiatives
- Anticipate bottlenecks manage risk and escalations and balance the business needs versus technical constraints

IAM Identity Center is the enterprise identity connector for AWS enabling workforce users to securely access 45 AWS applications through a single consistent authentication experience. Our team operates at the intersection of security developer experience and platform scale. We build and run globally distributed authentication systems used by hundreds of thousands of enterprise customers from individuals startups to the worlds largest enterprises.

We are a tight-knit team that values ownership bias for action and customer obsession. We move fast delivering complex multi-team programs while maintaining the highest security and quality bar. Youll work alongside experienced Software Engineers Program Managers and other Product Managers who are passionate about making identity simple and secure for every AWS customer.

- Bachelors degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience with end to end product delivery

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
