Key job responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end design process for complex user experiences from strategy to execution
Demonstrated ability to transform complex challenges into structured scalable design solutions through systematic thinking.
Delivers innovative ideas that simplify complex healthcare challenges into impactful solutions.
Create visually compelling on-brand design solutions and works with product and tech partners to deliver
Conduct in-depth usability testing and leverage analytics to inform design decisions and measure the success of UX innovations.
Create comprehensive design artifacts including user journeys information architecture wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
Present and defend design recommendations to partners stakeholders and senior leadership for review feedback and approval.
Champion a user-centered design approach throughout the organization advocating for user needs and elevating the overall quality of design.
Mentor junior designers fostering a culture of design excellence and continuous learning.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system and UI library ensuring consistency and scalability across products.
Lead the strategic integration of AI-driven methodologies into the design process while architecting user-centric solutions for AI-native products and features.


A day in the life
As a Senior UX Designer at Amazon Health youll tackle some of our most complex customer problems. Youre expected to think like an owner and raise the bar for customer experience. Your day might be involve collaborating with UX Researchers on a new study brainstorming innovative solutions with Product Managers or presenting your latest designs to senior leadership. Youll use your organizational and communication skills to bring clarity to ambiguous situations working strategically with team members across the organization.

- 7 years of design experience
- Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end user-centered design solutions and patterns across desktop and mobile devices
- Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design

- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment to deliver high-quality design solutions
- Experience in visual design expertise with ability to produce fresh simple elegant and exceedingly usable layouts and interactions and iconography
- Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements prioritize features and influence product roadmaps
- Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design user-centered design process
- Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment or experience in finance roles
- Experience relying on analytics and data to cultivate deep customer empathy shape product decisions and track effectiveness of change

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
