The Sr. Network Technician independently performs network analysis design documentation task implementation and network maintenance in a large and diverse user environment within a broad framework of standards policies and procedures utilizing current techniques and methodologies.

The role is responsible for analyzing installing configuring and maintaining telecommunication network equipment and infrastructure by working with users and department staff to implement network infrastructure requirements and objectives and determine feasibility of implementation projects and identify problems with existing networks.

Required Skills Experience Education & Certifications
Items listed are required unless preferred is indicated

• 5-7 years of experience in network maintenance and user technical support preferred
• A Network and/or similar industry relevant certifications in related field highly preferred
• A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs including: Word Excel Access and Outlook
