Location: Schiller Park IL 60176 OR Dallas TX Area (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite)

Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. .NET Azure AI Platform Engineer to help design and implement AI-powered automation intelligent workflows and scalable cloud-native solutions supporting a rapidly growing global business.

This is not a Data Scientist Machine Learning Engineer AI Researcher or Enterprise Architect role. We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in C#/.NET Azure Cloud and modern front-end development ( who has successfully built and deployed production-grade AI-enabled applications and automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience implementing real-world AI assistants chat experiences RAG-based workflows and intelligent automation capabilities that delivered measurable business value.

• Design and implement AI-powered automation solutions within Microsoft Azure environments.

• Build and deploy AI assistants chat applications RAG-based workflows and GenAI-powered business solutions.

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify operational inefficiencies and develop intelligent automation strategies.

• Develop scalable AI-enabled workflows integrations and automation pipelines.

• Contribute to the modernization of a legacy ERP platform from a /SQL architecture to a cloud-native Azure ecosystem.

• Build and maintain microservices and microfrontend-based applications.

• Develop cloud-native applications using Azure services and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable secure and maintainable solutions.

• Support CI/CD processes application modernization initiatives and cloud migration efforts.

• Strong hands-on experience with C# development.

• Experience building modern front-end applications using and/or React.

• Strong experience within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

• Proven experience implementing practical AI automation or GenAI solutions in enterprise environments.

• Experience building production applications utilizing:

  • AI Assistants

  • Conversational AI / Chat Experiences

  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

  • Intelligent Automation Workflows

• Experience designing and developing cloud-native applications and services.

• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and systems integration.

• Experience working with Azure cloud migration initiatives.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business challenges into technology solutions.

• Experience modernizing and SQL Server applications.

• Experience with:
