The Personalization and Disovery team (PVPD) plays a vital role in connecting audiences with the compelling stories and content on Prime Video. Our mission is to foster long-lasting relationships between viewers and the service ensuring they keep coming back for more. Our work combines the art of curation and personalization with sophisticated data science and machine learning algorithms. We shape the Prime Video experience through personalized recommendations powered by advanced relevance models and deep insights into viewer behavior.

As a Senior Manager ML Infrastructure you will lead multiple engineering teams to define the vision strategy and execution plan for ML infrastructure stack and deliver highly extensible systems that fuel personalized discovery at global scale. You will bring clarity to ambiguity architecting infrastructure that dramatically improves the agility usability and extensibility of our ML solutions. Your technical leadership will shape the future of AI/ML across Prime Video unlocking generative and predictive models that personalize content for hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide.

Your day will involve partnering with scientists and product managers to streamline the model development lifecycle from research to production building ML infrastructure and establishing MLOps practices that enables rapid experimentation and deployment of AI/ML models. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers data scientists and applied scientists. With your deep expertise in machine learning infrastructure and and distributed systems youll ensure these AI-driven solutions are scalable reliable and responsible while continuously innovating to deliver delightful customer experiences.

- 10 years of engineering experience
- 5 years of engineering team management experience
- 10 years of planning designing developing and delivering consumer software experience
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs projects and development teams in an Agile environment
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Hands-on experience with machine learning infrastructure retrieval/recommendation systems large-language model and/or generative AI as well as partnering with applied science teams

- Experience designing and developing large scale high-traffic applications
- Bachelors degree in computer science computer engineering or related technical field
- Experience with AWS products and services

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
