Your Role

The Director Investment Committee Governance & Operations owns and continuously improves Digital Realtys global Investment Committee (IC) operating model governance framework and decision-support processes. The role serves as the steward of the Companys investment approval process ensuring opportunities progress efficiently from intake through decision documentation implementation and performance tracking.

The Director manages the weekly Investment Committee process maintains the Companys system of record for investment approvals and ensures investment opportunities are presented in a clear consistent and decision-ready addition to operating the approval process the role is responsible for transforming Investment Committee data into actionable insights that improve capital allocation decisions underwriting discipline investment performance and portfolio intelligence.

Working across Portfolio Management Group (PMG) Acquisitions Hyperscale Development & Leasing (HDL) Finance Accounting Design Engineering & Construction (DE&C) and senior leadership the Director drives continual improvement in governance decision quality analytics systems and operating efficiency.

What Youll Do

Investment Committee Governance & Operations

• Own and operate the global Investment Committee process end-to-end from intake through approval implementation tracking and record retention.
• Manage weekly Investment Committee meetings ensuring materials are complete decision-ready and aligned with governance standards.
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for Investment Committee process performance decision tracking follow-up actions and issue resolution.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks submission standards decision rights controls and operating procedures.

Investment Committee Content & Decision Quality

• Own the design governance and continual evolution of Investment Committee templates submission requirements and decision-support materials.
• Ensure Investment Committee members receive clear consistent and decision-useful information including key risks mitigants assumptions dependencies and performance metrics.
• Continuously refine submission requirements as business priorities market conditions technologies customer requirements and risk factors evolve.
• Partner with submitting teams to ensure both understanding and adoption of evolving standards and requirements.

Investment Analytics & Portfolio Intelligence

• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and analytics related to investment activity approval trends capital deployment project activity and geographic performance.
• Build and maintain structured datasets derived from Investment Committee submissions and approvals to support benchmarking portfolio analysis and executive decision-making.
• Analyze investment development and construction data across projects regions and time periods to identify trends outliers risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with PMG HDL Acquisitions Finance and other stakeholders to compare actual investment performance against approved underwriting assumptions and improve future investment decisions.
• Serve as a key resource for executive leadership by responding to inquiries regarding investment activity benchmarking cost trends portfolio performance and Investment Committee outcomes.

Operating Model Technology & Continuous Improvement

• Define and execute the long-term roadmap for Investment Committee governance processes systems reporting automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Treat the Investment Committee operating model as a product continuously improving decision quality efficiency scalability transparency and user experience.
• Lead implementation and adoption of process technology and operating-model improvements across stakeholder groups.

Leadership & Resource Management

• Lead and develop internal offshore and third-party resources supporting Investment Committee operations.
• Establish clear accountability service standards operating metrics and workload priorities.
• Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to the Head of Global Commercial Operations and senior leadership.

Documentation & Institutional Knowledge

• Maintain a controlled searchable and auditable repository of Investment Committee submissions approvals supporting analyses amendments and related documentation.
• Ensure investment decisions rationale and approval history can be efficiently retrieved and leveraged for future decision-making performance evaluation and organizational learning.
• Establish data governance standards that support consistency comparability transparency and long-term usability of investment information.

What Youll Need

• Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Real Estate Accounting Economics or a related field.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional processes governance programs operating-model initiatives or investment-related functions.
• Strong analytical and business intelligence capabilities including reporting benchmarking trend analysis and executive communication.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes while maintaining operational continuity.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving adoption across diverse teams.
• Familiarity with workflow systems automation reporting platforms and AI-enabled technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a global multi-time-zone environment.

Our Compensation Philosophy

Digital Realty offers its employees a highly competitive compensation package excellent benefits and an environment that recognizes and rewards your contributions. Central to our compensation philosophy is rewarding our employees for achieving the values and objectives aligned to the companys overall goals and values.

Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role level and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills experience and relevant education and/or training. Moreover an employees total compensation package varies by role and may include salary cash bonus or commissions and equity awards not quantified below.

Compensation Range: $170000 - $190000 annually.

This compensation range represents the Companys good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary for this position at the time of this posting.
