Responsibilities

The Sr. Manager of Enterprise Content & Information Management serves as the firmwide program lead and operational owner for how business content and documents are stored owned accessed retained and governed across Hines. Reporting directly to the Director of Enterprise Applications this role drives content governance programs across platforms such as Box SharePoint partnering with Legal Compliance Records Information Security IT and business teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary program owner for enterprise content and information management across Hines.
  • Partner with Legal Compliance Records Information Security Infrastructure and business stakeholders to operationalize retention access external sharing and records-management requirements.
  • Develop and implement standards for naming site/folder structure metadata provisioning ownership archival readiness and content lifecycle processes.
  • Collaborate with architects platform administrators developers and integration teams to ensure content platforms align with Hines current technology stack and security requirements.
  • Support future readiness for enterprise search knowledge management automation and AI by improving the structure ownership and governance of business content.
  • In partnership with the Director of Enterprise Applications manage vendor engagement product updates service levels roadmap discussions and issue resolution for related platforms.
  • Lead special projects involving content platforms including migrations platform enhancements governance rollouts repository cleanup and new implementations.
  • Work in partnership with Business Transformation Group (BTG) and business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend practical solutions that support enterprise standards.
  • Supervise coach and provide guidance to administrators analysts and/or outsourced partners supporting content and information management programs.
  • Support GDPR PII records and compliance requirements through established security protocols procedures and governance practices.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements Include:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science information systems information management business administration library/information science records management or a related field from an accredited institution is strongly preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in IT enterprise applications information management content management records management or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience supervising administrators analysts program resources and/or outsourced partners.
  • Demonstrated experience governing or supporting enterprise content platforms such as Box SharePoint Microsoft Teams OneDrive Microsoft 365 DocuSign Adobe or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience driving content governance repository cleanup migrations access reviews external sharing remediation metadata/taxonomy and lifecycle management programs.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs with Legal Compliance Records Information Security IT vendors and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL) and support processes for enterprise applications is preferred.
  • Experience in a global regulated real estate investment management financial services or professional services environment is preferred.
  • Compensation: $139600 - $207350 (New York)
