Sr. Level ETRM Openlink Consultant

The ETRM Developer reports to the Manager ETRM (Energy Trading & Risk Management) Applications and is responsible for development configuration maintenance and support of the ETRM applications including Endur Zema and custom applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for using their analytical and technical experience to develop and support custom solutions in Openlink Endur to meet the Cheniere Natural Gas and LNG business requirements. They will work closely with business analysts infrastructure personnel and business users to ensure that the solutions meet all business requirements.
Additional responsibilities include:Ensures technical solutions are developed in the best way to meet functional specifications and adhere to Chenieres technology with team members to ensure core and custom solutions adhere to best on multiple projects concurrently and/or multiple high priority production support issues production support for ETRM applications including Endur Zema and custom understanding of business and resolves problems through research and technical with vendor(s) DBA(s) IT Infrastructure personnel as needed to support with other application teams for issue resolution and proactively prevents issue works with vendors and external partner support services to obtain solutions and/or workarounds that are acceptable to business procedures for source code management and migration into the Production off-hours support when duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time; or the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledge:
Experience developing technical solutions to meet complex business requirements in a commodity trading environment. The ideal candidate would have experience in front middle and back-office functions to include Natural Gas & Financial Deal Capture Mark to Market and Risk Exposure Gas Scheduling and/or Settlements and Accounting and technical delivery leadership.
Skills:Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex technical ideas to business analysts OpenJVS OpenComponents Proficiency: Deep understanding of the Java programming language its libraries and related tools. Fluent understanding of OpenJVS and/or OpenComponents Skills: Experience with SQL and relational database systems like Oracle and SQL ServerVersion Control Systems: Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Subversion for tracking changes in the source code during software -Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues debug code and find effective solutions to coding : Understanding of DevOps principles and tools for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).Security: Knowledge of Windows security practices such as securing services using secure coding and deployment of Energy Markets: Basic knowledge of energy trading markets and regulatory frameworks can be very beneficial.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education Training and Certifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science IT or related field
Experience:Five (5) to seven (7) years experience developing ION/OpenLink Endur solutions with JVS and/ and Oracle DBMS and PL/SQL including hands-on knowledge around customization and integration using Openlink Endur.
