As a Senior IT Technical Writer you will play a pivotal role in enabling customers and partners to understand a rapidly evolving technically complex platform used globally across cloud AI and cybersecurity domains. This contract position offers remote flexibility with a preference for hybrid work (2 3 days onsite).
Role Impact & Expectations:
You will be responsible for creating and updating high-quality documentation that communicates complex platform features clearly and accurately. Your expertise in structured authoring cloud environments and version control will directly influence product adoption and customer success in a fast-paced innovation-driven environment.
Emphasis on Skills:
Candidates with deep experience in technical writing for cloud Oracle and Kubernetes environments structured authoring (DITA Oxygen XML Author) and documentation version control (Git GitHub) will excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain documentation to reflect new features enhancements and platform changes
- Collaborate with engineering and product management to ensure technical accuracy
- Partner with fellow writers to maintain a consistent style structure and tone
- Write clear concise and jargon-free technical content for complex platform functionality
- Ensure documentation remains current and accurate across product releases
