Job Summary

Under the supervision of  Training management responsible for the creation and standardization of GMP training and job-specific training for all functions across the Branchburg site (including but not limited to production quality supply chain and business processes). This role must possess a strong understanding of content development and learning solutions (traditional web-based etc.). Drives standardization and training effectiveness by reducing variability between employees training. This role must have strong communication skills to lead classroom training and must be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization. This role will also provide administrative support for base business compliance wire.

Responsibilities: 

  • Performs needs assessments to define the current situation and the performance gap
  • Develop clear training metrics with clear visibility and accountability
  • Track key performance indicators
  • Research existing materials to gather information about the desired training topic. Conducts departmental visits for learning and performance needs assessments. Interviews subject matter experts to gather information about the desired training topic.
  • Utilizes performance improvement methodologies to determine/identify whether the cause of non-performance is training or non-training related and develop corresponding solutions.
  • Designs program evaluation instruments using appropriate evaluation tools
  • Observe and improve human-computer/human- process interactions to ensure quality efficiency and minimize (if not eliminate) human error
  • Serves as lead training representative on project teams to identify training requirements.
  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies procedures and state federal and local laws
  • Responsible for defining training content and building appropriate models. Creates instructors guides participants guides slide presentations notes visuals computer-based training programs web-based training programs job aids games and other forms of blended learning methodologies
  • Create and sustain team-based training systems
  • Run training session on general topics not requiring SMEs such as GDP OPEX basics Safety etc.
  • Supports department by processing information in LMS including creating classes completing employee information entering test scores registering associates researching databases for information pulling and reviewing work instructions per request and data input
  • Support FDA audit initiatives as needed

 

 


Qualifications :

Bachelors degree is required.  Degree in business or related field is acceptable when combined with relevant work experience.
3 years in relevant work experience is required.
Knowledge and ability to apply adult learning principles.
Knowledge of complex technical issues and manufacturing experience in a biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical or similar environment.
Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication and interacting with people at various levels of the organization is critical.
Strong problem solving and prioritization skills.  Must be able to work independently under minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience/certifications with or in TechSmith Camtasia and Articulate Storyline is Highly Desired
  • Degree in Instruction Design Instructional Technology or related field is Highly Desired.
  • 1 year of supervisory or project management experience is Highly Desired.
