DESCRIPTION:
As a Senior HR Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific youll contribute meaningfully while enabling our mission to make the world healthier cleaner and safer. Working as a strategic partner youll translate business strategy into innovative HR solutions that build organizational capabilities and drive results. Youll partner with leaders to attract develop and retain talent while fostering an engaging culture built on our 4i values of Integrity Intensity Innovation and Involvement.

In this role youll provide comprehensive HR leadership to the Global MSD Commercial team across talent management organizational development employee relations compensation and engagement initiatives. Youll analyze workforce data to develop insights that inform strategic decisions and guide organizational change efforts. As a subject matter expert in HR policies and processes youll advise leaders while ensuring alignment of HR programs with business objectives. Youll work effectively across a global matrix organization building strong relationships and implementing enterprise-wide initiatives.


Youll partner closely with leaders to:

  • Shape and execute people strategies that directly support business priorities and long-term growth.
  • Advise and coach leaders on complex organizational talent performance and employee matters.
  • Lead organizational transformation including change management organizational design and capability-building initiatives.
  • Build strong leadership pipelines through thoughtful talent planning development succession and retention strategies.
  • Use data and insights to drive decisions identifying workforce trends and opportunities to strengthen business performance.
  • Navigate a global matrixed environment influencing across functions geographies and levels of leadership.
  • Champion an inclusive high-performance culture grounded in Thermo Fisher Scientifics 4i Values: Integrity Intensity Innovation and Involvement.
  • Connect the full power of HR across talent acquisition total rewards organizational development employee relations and other centers of expertise to deliver integrated solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience or Bachelors Degree plus 8 years of experience in progressive HR experience in global matrix organizations
Preferred Fields of Study: Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or related field
PHR/SPHR certification desirable
Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategy into actionable HR solutions
Experience leading organizational change and development initiatives
Expertise in talent management performance management compensation and employee relations
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to derive insights from HR data
Excellent consulting influencing and relationship building capabilities at all levels
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple complex initiatives
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
Experience advising and developing leaders
Ability to make decisions with limited information and adapt to change
Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office suite
Experience partnering with works councils/unions where applicable
Fluency in English required; additional language skills valued for international roles
Ability to travel 10-25% as needed
Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
