Sr. Global Trade Specialist (Import), Prime Air

The Prime Air Team is looking for an experienced trade leader who will shape global trade compliance policies drive export control initiatives and build scalable trade capabilities as the Prime Air drone delivery program grows.

This is a high-impact role for someone who sees compliance as a business enabler not a gatekeeper. Youll work at the intersection of advanced drone delivery technology and complex international trade regulations building export compliance solutions from the ground up as Prime Air expands into new markets.

Key job responsibilities
Own and scale Prime Airs global export compliance program shape policies processes and work instructions that keep pace with a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape (EAR ITAR EU Dual-Use and non-US regimes)
Provide deep subject matter expertise on US and international export controls classification (ECCN/USML) licensing technology transfer and deemed exports
Drive automation and innovative solutions to streamline export compliance at scale youll build not just maintain
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering Operations Procurement Supply Chain Legal Tax Public Policy and Global Trade Services to embed compliance into business processes
Own leadership communications metrics and executive reporting translate complex regulatory risk into clear business narratives
Manage external regulatory relationships and escalations including government filings voluntary disclosures and broker oversight

- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Masters degree or 7 years of work experience
- Experience in trade compliance customs operations customs brokerage supply chain logistics or similar

- 5 years of compliance audit or risk management experience
- Masters degree
- Experience leading teams
- Experience communicating effectively with senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
