Work Schedule: Hybrid (remote work 2 days per week)
Duration: 6 Months
We are seeking a qualified Senior GIS Programmer/Systems Analyst to perform application development and support activities supporting the Office of Information Technologys GIS Program and the Office of Planning.
The programmer will assist in the upgrade and development of an Agricultural Preservation Model upgrading the current custom ArcMap AddIn (C#/Python ) to an ArcGIS Pro AddIn.
Duties:
- GIS application development in an Enterprise GIS environment
- Code review documentation planning and development
- Database development
Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
- Minimum of five (5) years developing and modifying applications using JavaScript HTML C# Python.
- Minimum of three (3) years working with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server ArcGIS APIs ArcGIS JavaScript API Esri SDKs and ArcSDE
- Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python
- Strong Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) Triggers and Stored Procedures.
- Development of reports using SSRS Power BI
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and concepts (Oracle SQL Server preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelors degree in Business Computer Science or a related field and five years experience in systems analysis change management analysis project management program analysis or a closely related field.
- Recent engagement with a government entity
Required Skills:
Required Qualifications Minimum 8 years of frontend development experience. Drupal theming experience using Twig. Strong HTML5 CSS3 and modern JavaScript skills. Experience with design systems (MDWDS USWDS or equivalent). Accessibility-aware development at WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Experience with state or federal accessibility audits. Preferred Qualifications Acquia Certified Frontend Specialist. Experience with large-scale content migration
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Business Computer Science or a related field
