Our Opportunity:

Chewy seeks a highly motivated analytical and enthusiastic Senior Financial Analyst to join our Commercial FP&A Finance team! Combining an understanding of Finance and practical knowledge of financial documents while using data to make-and-drive decisions this candidate will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key strategic decisions drive Chewy growth and ensure financial objectives are achieved.

What Youll Do:

• Perform modeling and analytics required to synthesize large sets of data and produce concise outputs to provide recommendations and/or conclusions to leadership
• Aid in the reporting and financial performance management frameworks for the business and help define key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performance
• Work cross-functionally with the broader Chewy Finance Merchandising Marketing Product Supply Chain and Accounting teams to fully understand the business systems and overall operations
• Actively participate in strategic planning processes target setting and annual/quarterly planning processes by building & updating forecast models and creating alignment between business and finance teams
• Support financial reporting process for weekly and monthly business reviews
• Coordinate the monthly close process ensuring books and records are accurately maintained in accordance with Chewys policies and procedures
• Effectively manage numerous projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

What Youll Need:

• BA/BS degree in Finance Accounting Business Management or Economics
• 3 years relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of GAAP and grasp of financial statements
• Financial analysis and modeling skills and experience in forecasting budgeting reporting and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP Data tables pivot tables etc.) skills
• Ability to think creatively be a self-start work independently deal with ambiguity and meet tight deadlines / prioritize changing workloads
• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Experience with Hyperion Smartview Tableau Oracle ERP SQL coding

• The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidates relevant experience education and work addition this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08 positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
