The NF Integrated Digital Services team is seeking adetail-oriented Software Engineerwith advanced Java SQL and AWS infrastructure skills to support eB2B systems. eB2B enables critical business processes for the Annuities Life Insurance and Retirement Solutions lines of business ensuring Firms and Advisors can issue new business and service their customers efficiently.

As a Software Engineer on the eB2B team you will play a critical role in supporting the eB2B Run Team by managing infrastructure tasks incident resolution and file transfer operations. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines ensuring efficient and reliable delivery processes. Additionally you will maintain DTCC and non-DTCC feed transmissions working closely with team members and business partners to ensure data integrity performance and scalability across platforms.

As a Software Engineer you will focus primarily on providing high quality efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built this capacity youll analyze code configure test debug document and maintain applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in software development and infrastructure support.
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools and pipeline management.
• Knowledge of file transfer protocols (FTP SFTP) and data feed systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with Python is nice to have

This role will work a hybrid schedule coming into the Columbus Ohio office 2 days per week on Mondays & Tuesdays.

• Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.

• Uses DevSecOps practices tooling and techniques.

• Drives continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training practice and innovation.

• Manages project priorities deadlines and deliverables proactively.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to a Technology Manager/Director.

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science management information systems or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree.

Experience: Two or more years of analysis and technology experience.

Knowledge Abilities and Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java C Python JavaScript. Knowledge of software development lifecycle. Proven ability to tackle moderately sophisticated business and development problems. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.

Other criteria including leadership skills competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring managers leader and Human Resources Business Partner.
