We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support electrical design for commercial projects. This role is focused on power distribution lighting low voltage systems load calculations and construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
Role Focus
Electrical design for commercial and industrial buildings
Power distribution and electrical distribution systems
Lighting lighting controls and low voltage systems
Load calculations panel schedules and equipment coordination
Revit and AutoCAD drawing production
Key Responsibilities
Develop electrical drawings models details schedules and construction documents.
Design power distribution systems lighting layouts low voltage systems and related electrical infrastructure.
Perform load calculations voltage drop calculations panel schedules and circuiting layouts.
Coordinate electrical design with architectural mechanical plumbing structural and civil teams.
Support design reviews code reviews permitting bidding and construction administration.
Review existing electrical systems and support field verification when needed.
Respond to RFIs submittals design changes and construction-related questions.
Maintain accurate project documentation drawing updates and quality control standards.
Required Experience
Electrical engineering or electrical design experience for commercial government institutional or similar facility projects.
Strong Revit experience for electrical modeling and documentation.
AutoCAD experience for drafting detailing and construction document support.
Working knowledge of power distribution lighting design low voltage systems and building electrical systems.
Ability to perform load calculations and prepare panel schedules single-line diagrams and electrical layouts.
Understanding of electrical codes coordination requirements and construction documentation standards.
Ability to work with internal teams consultants clients and contractors.
Preferred Experience
Experience with federal municipal defense public sector or government facility projects.
Experience with emergency power generators fire alarm security telecom or data systems.
Familiarity with energy codes lighting controls service sizing and equipment coordination.
EIT PE or ability to work toward professional licensure preferred.
