Position: Data Engineer (Scala) Senior
Location: Charlotte NC
Employment Type: Cliff W2
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Visa: Open to all work-authorized candidates.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Scala (Mandatory)
Apache Spark using Scala (Not PySpark)
Strong SQL skills
ETL/Data Pipeline development
Hadoop ecosystem (Hive/HDFS) is a plus
Experience with Git and Agile methodologies

Senior Candidates

7 years of Data Engineering experience
Strong expertise in Scala Spark and large-scale data processing
Performance tuning and data pipeline optimization
Ability to mentor junior team members

Note: Candidates with only PySpark experience and no hands-on Scala experience will not be considered.
