Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a US Sr. Credit Analyst to join our Popular Association Banking (Community Association) team in Miami Lakes this position you will be responsible for underwriting new commercial requests and renewals including the banks most complex requests. Performs annual financial reviews of existing commercial relationships.

- Perform review of appraisals and real estate evaluations. Monitor and test loan covenants for existing credit relationships.
- Work collaboratively with Commercial Loan Officers and the credit department leadership to ensure that credit risks are identified and credited to credit approvers and loan committees.
- Ensure that all exceptions to the banks lending policy are noted and noted that the proper level of approval is for all requests based on requirements in the banks lending policy.
- Provide training and mentoring of staff for promotion and enhancement developing enhanced independence in all aspects particularly relating to more complex credits.
- Develop continually advancing portfolio analytics including high loan to value (HLTV) policy tracking and stress testing. When appropriate make presentations to the banks various loan committees.
- Contribute to recommendations for the loan loss.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the banks lending policy as well as interagency regulations.
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year college.
- Five or more years of commercial credit experience preferably within a bank environment.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and legal principles underlying the banks documents.
- Computer literate; fluency in Microsoft Office Programs.
- Experience in lease administration database SAP system preferred.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
