Sr. Casting Technician Pediatric

Work Schedule:
100% FTE 40 hours per week day shift. Weekly schedule will be Monday Friday 8am-4:30pm. This position will work onsite at American Family Childrens Hospital at 1675 Highland Ave. Madison WI. It will also work at our Science Drive Medical Center at 621 Science Dr. Madison WI.

We are seeking a Sr. Casting Technician-Pediatric to:

• Join our Orthopedic surgeons who provide a full range of surgical services.
• Collaborate with all medical staff to determine the most appropriate cast or brace for a patient with particular diagnosis and treatment(s).
• Assist with development and follow policies and procedures relating to cast room staff duties.
• Provide quality care to pediatric patients in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment.
• Apply and remove casts apply and adjust braces and splints perform suture removal and minor wound care and stocking supplies.
• Promote healthy lifestyles wellness and education.
