The Sustainability Reporting Enablement and Governance (S-REG) teams mission is to build a lasting scalable and trusted sustainability reporting infrastructure to satisfy regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations. You bring a builder mindset a clear point of view on how AI tools can support and scale analytical work and the ability to thrive in ambiguity - structuring problems reaching defensible conclusions and documenting clearly.

You will build deep contextual knowledge of those measurement and accounting systems and define the completeness accuracy correlation and causality analyses that turn raw multi-source data into disclosure-ready information; prototype those analyses on real data; ensure data quality through scalable testing; draw correlations across domains (and against financials) in a way that is rigorous and makes business sense; and partner with our internal tech teams to scale the winning solutions. Your work directly determines whether Amazon can produce sustainability disclosures that are accurate explainable and defensible under external assurance.

Rapidly prototype new analytics and validation approaches (including with GenAI tooling) to prove value on real data then hand well-specified requirements to internal tech partners to build and scale.
Partner cross-functionally with data providers and measurement teams report owners and controllership - translating complex data-quality findings into plain language for non-technical stakeholders and senior leaders.
