Job Summary

Spring 2027 - Interior Design - Collegiate Intern (Dallas)in GAC Dallas


Unique Skills:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide effective assistance with presentations (sample boards renderings drawings) of aircraft design concepts incorporating customers requirements to achieve marketing objectives and to meet all FAA requirements
  2. Interface with interior design to develop effective presentations for aircraft refurbishments and/or completions.
  3. Assist in coordinating all fabric material inquiries and reserves to check for availability for assigned aircraft
  4. Organize prepare distribute and file materials and data to help establish and maintain effective communication and information systems within the design department.
  5. Support completion design as required.

Additional Functions:
1. Maintain organization and cleanliness of sample library


Education and Experience Requirements:

  1. Currently seeking a bachelors or masters degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture in a full time capacity.
  2. Minimum 3.0cumulative GPA or higher at the time of application and it must be noted on the resume submitted.
  3. Must have reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of the internship
  4. Be available to work full-time during the Spring of 2027.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of design principles color science textile carpet and leather techniques.
  2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word Excel PowerPoint).

    Other Requirements:
    1. Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelors degree or higher.
    2. Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date.
    3. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
    4. Rotation Requirements: Juniors 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students 1 rotation.
    5. Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 1416 weeks (spring and fall).
    6. Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
    7. Must have reliable transportation.
    This job requires one to be able to read write speak and understand the English language.
