Speech Office Internship

Long Island Speech is seeking enthusiastic dependable and organized part-time paid interns to join our Stony Brook office. This is an excellent opportunity for students and individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional healthcare environment while developing valuable administrative communication organizational and workplace skills.

Our interns work alongside multiple departments and gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a busy speech therapy practice. We offer a supportive team environment flexible scheduling and opportunities to learn and grow within the organization.

• Assist with daily office operations including sorting and distributing mail filing scanning copying and shredding documents.
• Support the marketing team with promotional initiatives materials and research for upcoming events.
• Assist the billing department with medical postings data entry and other administrative tasks.
• Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.
• Help ensure the office remains organized efficient and welcoming for patients families and staff.
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
