Speech Language Pathologist

Coachella Valley Unified School District covers more than 1200 square miles of mostly rural desert terrain serving the communities of Coachella Thermal Mecca Oasis Indio and the Salton Sea. The district currently operates fifteen elementary schools three middle schools three comprehensive high schools one continuation high school and one adult school. Coachella Valley Unified School District has a growing reputation for innovative programs and outstanding staff. Coachella Valley Unified School District has a large Latino and English Learner population that has made tremendous improvements in student achievement in the past few years. We are proud of the accomplishments of our students teachers staff parents and the community that has made that achievement possible. Our district faces some very tough challenges in educating the children of the Coachella Valley. We remain convinced that we can and will continue to improve our educational outcomes so that more of our students go on to college and become respected and respectful members of our diverse global society. Education is the ticket to the future and we are working diligently to make sure that we provide students with opportunities to excel and to prosper.

Provides speech and language therapy and related services to students with identified special needs assesses referred students formulates and implements I.E.P. goals and objectives. Serves as a resource to site and District personnel and other related duties as assigned.
