Were looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Alma MI on a PRN basis. If you enjoy building relationships with patients working alongside a supportive clinical team and having the flexibility of PRN scheduling this could be a great fit.
As an SLP youll have the opportunity to work directly with patients on communication cognition and swallowing needs while helping them maintain or regain independence.
- Evaluate patients and identify individualized speech language cognitive and swallowing needs
- Develop and provide appropriate treatment interventions
- Help patients improve communication and functional abilities
- Address swallowing and dietary safety needs as appropriate
- Monitor progress and update treatment plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Communicate with families caregivers nursing and other therapy professionals
- Participate as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team
- Current Michigan Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA certification preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
