Adelphi is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to students within a school setting in Gloucester Virginia.

Requirements
Current Virginia licensure or other applicable credential required to provide speech-language pathology services.
Appropriate education training and professional experience necessary to provide school-based speech-language pathology services.
Experience providing speech-language pathology services to students with disabilities in a school or educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities
Provide direct speech-language pathology services to students in accordance with their IEPs and assigned service requirements.
Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
Develop written evaluation reports recommendations and appropriate speech-language interventions.
Participate in eligibility IEP manifestation determination and multidisciplinary team meetings as requested.
Monitor student progress and maintain required service and progress documentation.
Provide consultation to teachers administrators parents special education personnel and other members of the educational team.
Provide recommendations regarding accommodations assistive technology communication supports and specialized instructional supports within the scope of speech-language pathology services.
Provide consultative services to instructional staff and families regarding students communication needs.
Assist with Medicaid documentation and billing requirements where applicable.
Coordinate service schedules with administrators and designated case managers.
Prepare and submit required reports recommendations progress records and service documentation.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA IDEA HIPAA where applicable and other governing requirements.
Maintain required professional licensure certifications and professional standards throughout the assignment.
Perform other duties as assigned
