Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a skilled nursing facility setting. This role involves evaluating and treating patients with speech language communication and swallowing disorders while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
CCCs preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients with speech language cognitive communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients families physicians and interdisciplinary staff.
- Assist with program development and department initiatives.
- Provide in-services and education to staff as needed.
- Support the daily operations of the rehabilitation department.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American.
- Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred.
