Under direction of an assigned administrator the Speech and Language Pathologist is responsible for assessing and determining eligibility of children with language and speech disorders for formulating goals and objectives and providing instruction to effectively modify language and speech disorders and for coordinating the instructional services with the multidisciplinary assessment team and school staff. The Speech and Language Pathologist provides consultation confers with parents teachers and administrators and coordinates the program within assigned sites; and performs related duties as required
Qualification for employment includes completion of on line training in the following areas:*New Employee Training*Preventing Workplace Violence*Bloodborne Pathogens*Sexual Harassment*Child Abuse/Mandated ReporterUpon offer of employment candidates will receive information and directions regarding this must a valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services or a Clinical Services credential authorizing services in Audiology
